National Newspapers
- ヨミダス歴史館 Yomidasu RekishikanThis is a subscription database. Full-text access to articles published in the Yomiuri newspaper since 1874. Also linked to dictionaries to help you understand what you are reading.
- Asahi 朝日新聞Search box is in the top right hand corner.
- Mainichi 毎日新聞You can search a year's worth of the online news through the website, but default search is for 1 month. Look for 検索オプション on the results page to change this.
- Japan TimesUse an English paper like the Japan Times to read up on topics that you don't understand in Japanese.
