Thanks to the scholarly endeavors of Dr. Lewis Hanke, the Du Bois Library has a magnificent collection of 356 reels of microfilm of documents on colonial Latin America, principally from the Viceroyalties of Mexico and Peru.

The Index to this collection is the three-volume set Guia de las Fuentes en el Archivo General de las Indias para el estudio de la administración virreinal española en México y en el Perú, 1535-1700. (F1401.L322 Bd.7). A second copy is in the Microfilm Room (CD1859.S3 H3).
