Assignment 7: Plan the Future for Your Companies

Assignment 7: Summary:

Throughout this semester, your Virtual-Team has researched the decisions, activities, and performance of the companies you selected. You have completed a “retrospective” research review. For Assignment 7, your Team is asked to place themselves in the “CEO Role” of your 2-Primary Companies (and their Competitors) to make proposals that “look ahead/plan ahead."

Review your Virtual-Team's Executive Summaries for Assignments 1 through 6. Be sure to re-check the good and bad company decisions you listed in Assignment 6. For the current assignment, propose and justify a new product or service for your 2-Primary Companies (and their Competitors).

Assignment 7: Instructions:

1. Review all Executive Summaries, particularly the good and bad company decisions you wrote about for Assignment 6.
2. If you need additional information about company decisions, or wish to review articles on new product or service planning, go to BSP/BSC for additional research.  See planning words at right.
3. Propose a new product or service you believe your 2-Primary companies (and their Competitors) should develop and bring to the marketplace.
4. Write an Executive Summary. List the product or service you propose for your 2-Primary companies (and their Competitors). Justify your decision-making. Why has your Virtual-Team selected this specific product or service?  When your Virtual-Team completes the main portion of your Executive Summary, be sure to add a Cultural Addendum to the Executive Summary (100 words in length) explaining how the Assignment 7 Topic might be impacted by cultural norms in their particular Country.
