Chinese 391G: Junior Year Writing

Hi, I am your librarian Sharon Domier. I am here to help you to formulate research questions, come up with the right vocabulary, and find the most appropriate sources and references for your needs. Research is generally messy. We are rarely able to come up with a nicely focused topic and well-defined research question on the first try. Generally, it requires several rounds of back and forth between you, your professor, and your librarian before you are off and running. 

I enjoy the process. I love digging for obscure references. Really. Please don't hesitate to send me email or stop by and see me to talk through your project. I would much rather you spend your time reading, thinking, and writing than searching and researching.
