Finding NAICS codes

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is the standard used by Federal statistical agencies in classifying business establishments for the purpose of collecting, analyzing, and publishing statistical data related to the U.S. business economy (source).

Many business information sources use NAICS codes to organize information and publicize data. NAICS codes can be useful in searching more efficiently for relevant statistics and information and to assist with the identification of potential competitors.
