UMass Amherst Libraries is one of only two designated PTRCs in Massachusetts (along with Boston Public Library) and one of about eighty in the entire United States. Learn about the USPTO PTRC Program
Consultations with the PTRC Librarian are by appointment only. Please make sure to call or email ahead of your visit to ensure that I am available to meet with you. The PTRC and the SEL are open to the public (Borrowing Policies). Copies of Plant Patents, Patent Coloring Books, guides, and various other patent and trademark information can be used anytime at the SEL during our business hours.
We are located in the Science & Engineering Library (SEL) on the 2nd Floor
in the Lederle Graduate Research Center Lowrise
Parking and Visitor Information
If driving to campus, you can either park at a metered spot in Lot 43 (pay either by coins or using the ParkMobile App), or in the Campus Center Garage which is a short walk to the Science & Engineering Library.
