Judaic Studies and Jewish Life at UMass
- Judaic Studies Program at UMass AmherstJudaic studies majors embark on interdisciplinary exploration that spans ancient and modern worlds. Through a full range of courses in Hebrew, Yiddish, Jewish history, Israeli studies, philosophy, law, politics, literature, and film, students participate in rigorous cultural and linguistic inquiry. Taught by faculty with specializations in history, public policy, literature, theater, and more, these courses provide critical perspectives on the role played by Jewish culture in the development of human civilization.
