Opportunities for Communicaiton
Communication is critical if you are confused about an assignment or your instructor's expectations. It is also critical if you are uncomfortable with something that is happening regarding your academic work. Your instructors can guide you and answer questions that you may have.
There are many opportunities to communicate with your instructor about the work that you are expected to do.

- UMass Amherst Academic Honesty Flowchart for FacultyThis document outlines faculty and student roles and responsibilities when there is suspicion of academic misconduct.
- UMass Amherst Code of Student ConductSection 4.1.1 places academic dishonesty at the top of behaviors that violate integrity, personal identification, and representation.
