Old magazines
The library has a collection of old magazines, from the Great War period, on the eighth floor. Mass-market titles such as Collier's, Harper's Weekly, and The Atlantic Monthly were enormously popular, and give insight into the mood at home as America edged towards war.
The library also has long, wartime runs of The Spectator and The Illustrated London News, from the UK.
