Browsing in-person
You can go up to the 8th floor in Du Bois to see what we have available. These call numbers below mainly refer to fiction comics, although sometimes you can find nonfiction comics here.
- PN6725-PN6728 US comics
- PN6731-PN6734 Canada
- PN6745-PN6748 France
- PN6755-PN6758 Germany
- PN6565-PN6768 Italy
- PN6775-PN6778 Spain
- PN6790 Comics from all other countries
Generally, nonfiction comics are shelved along with other books on the same subject.
We use Library of Congress call numbers in our library, and this system definitely has limitations for comics and graphic novels. If you have a question about how to find comics from a specific country not listed here, reach out to your librarian at Find Your Librarian. You can also ask about how to find nonfiction comics in any subject.
