There are more and more magazines offering digital versions for iPads, smartphones, and/or computers. Some will provide sample pages for free, but others require subscriptions or credit card payments, and in some cases the credit cards must be registered to a Japanese street address like the JPass system.

Other publishers are offering digital editions specifically for the overseas market like Shukan Shincho!
