Writing Assistance

The Writing Center, located on the 12th and 13th floors of the W.E.B. Du Bois Library, is available to UMass students for writing instruction. You can make an appointment online or visit in person.

The Learning Resource Center, located on the 10th floor of the W.E.B. Du Bois Library, provides tutoring by students who are trained to help their peers achieve better academic success in courses deemed to be challenging for many students.
