- Index of scholarly journals from a range of disciplines with extensive full-text.
- MLA International Bibliography
- Index to journal articles and other scholarly literature on literature, literary theory and criticism, linguistics, folklore, and (since 1996) and film (since the 1920s). Appreciable coverage of European journals.
- ProQuest Dissertations and Theses
- Index of US and Canadian dissertations and theses from 1861 to present. Mostly full-text 1997 to present. Note that the contents of this database do not show up in Discovery Search results.
- Web of Science
- Index to articles from peer-reviewed journals from a wide variety of disciplines. It is useful for understanding how scholars converse with each other's ideas over time. The "Analyze Results" generates visualizations to illuminate these connections.
