Full Registration + Tuesday Night
NOTE: You must reserve your room for Tuesday night before registration closes! We are unable to add Tuesday night campers to the dorms after this deadline.
Also, you will be on your own for dinner Tuesday night and breakfast Wednesday morning.
When you register, you will also be able to select some "extras" to enhance your boot camp experience. See options below.
The registration site will stop accepting registrations at 11:59pm on May 27.
Due to processing fees for credit cards, we prefer that you pay by check, if possible.
When paying by check, fill out the online registration form first.
No refunds will be issued after payment has been made. If you are unable to attend, please arrange for a colleague to attend in your place.
Make checks payable to UMass Dartmouth Library and mail to:

We made arrangements with conference services at Brandeis to allow campers to add a Tuesday night stay in the dorms. The cost for the additional night is $52.
NOTE: You must select the option for Full Registration plus Tuesday night stay on the registration form to take advantage of this offer! We have to provide a list of those staying Tuesday night to Conference Services prior to the start of Boot Camp. If your name is not on the list, you will not be able to stay in the dorms Tuesday night. You must reserve your room before registration closes!
This year, we are again offering activities for those arriving early. There is no fee for these activities, but we do have limited space available. Slots will be filled according to the date and time stamp on registration forms. More information will be emailed to campers on the activity lists as we get close to Boot Camp.
ACTIVITY #1: Visit Robert D. Farber University Archives & Special Collections
The Brandeis reference archivist will prepare a special display featuring some of their science-related content, and be on hand for questions.
ACTIVITY #2: Soldering Workshop in the MakerLab
Learn to solder on circuit boards during the MakerLab soldering training. Our own Melanie Radik will be assisting with this hands-on activity!
Brandeis researcher Brian Donahue will lead a hike through his research site in the Weston Woods and talk about his role in the deer hunting / Lyme disease control research project he participated in with our Ecology research speaker Eric Olsen.
The site is a 15-minute drive from campus, so we plan to carpool. More details to come.
