Welcome to the Digital Media Lab!

Located on the third floor of the Du Bois Library, the Digital Media Lab and has over 4000 square feet of production space designed to support students at any step in the multimedia production process.

In the lab are iMacs and dual monitor PCs loaded with all the software needed to do a wide range of projects from slide shows and podcasts to multicamera video productions and 3-D animation.

In addition, the lab has specialized production rooms such as a green screen room for shooting chroma-key videos, sound rooms for recording audio, a presentation practice / media viewing room, and a makerspace room (coming soon).

Students can also checkout a variety of production equipment from cameras and tripods to audio recorders and portable sound booths. Most equipment is available on a 3-day loan and a detailed list of equipment can be seen here.
