Welcome

Welcome to the Reference Guide the Criminal Justice Program from the UMass Libraries.

This guide is geared toward the intermediate level researcher, refreshing ideas learned such as basic research techniques, search strategies, evaluation of information, bibliographic styles and a link to the online citation manager RefWorks.

There are suggestions of databases and internet links that can provide reliable articles, information, and statistical data in criminal justice and what to do if there is an article you need that is not available at the UMass Libraries.

If you need further help of a specialized nature contact the sociology/criminal justice librararian Steve Mc Ginty at 413-545-1871 or smcginty@library.umass.edu to schedule a research appointment with him.
