INDUSTRY RESEARCH - INTRODUCTION
Industry resources are divided into six categories: 1) industry reports; 2) journal articles; 3) ratios; 4) directories; 5) trade associations; 6) government data. Industry researchers should also be familiar with U.S. industry classification - the North American Industrial Classification System - NAICS.
