Science Boot Camp 2013

Capstone session will follow this general format:

1. PANEL: Librarians will talk about establishing a rapport with researchers under different circumstances, and about different topics.
   
   
2. DEMO: A librarian will interview a researcher before your very eyes!
   
   
3. SMALL GROUP EXERCISE: Small groups of librarians will interview researchers about their research process.
   
   
4. RECAP: We will discuss what we've learned, and evaluate the exercise.

Every year, we come up with a different way to finish Science Boot Camp. The idea is to focus on something pertinent and useful for science librarians.

Past Camp evaluations have requested "hands-on" activities.  This year's Capstone is an experiment with an activity for Boot Campers to reflect on this part of their jobs.
