The Writing Center, located in the Learning Commons, is available to UMass students for writing instruction. You can make an appointment online or visit in person.

The Learning Resource Center, located on the 10th floor of the W.E.B. Du Bois Library, provides tutoring by students who are trained to help their peers achieve better academic success in courses deemed to be challenging for many students.

When writing a paper, it is important to know how to cite your sources. There are different citation styles for different subjects. If you don't know which one to use, ask your professor or ask a librarian.
