CHINESE - 155 - CHINESE MYTHS & LEGENDS

Introduction to myths and legends of traditional China: gods, goddesses, immortals, dragons, and deified heroes. Their ancient forms and how they appear in literature and the arts will be discussed. Short essays, a long essay, a term paper are required.
