Latin American and Spanish Videos Freely Available on the Internet

Jesús Alonso-Regalado, Latin American librarian at SUNY-Albany, has compiled an excellent guide to finding Latin American and Spanish videos.

Film & tv

The Library has added hundreds of films from Latin America and Iberia to our collection, and is always happy to purchase student and faculty requests (subject to budgetary limits).

These can be accessed through the catalog by title, director, etc. They can also be retrieved by typing in one of several subject headings:

Feature films--[Country]

Documentary films--[Country]

You can also do an "Advanced" search in our library catalog, use any keyword you like, and set the "Format" box below to "DVD's, Videos, Films & Slides."

Note: Many of these films are not Region 1, NTSC productions, and may require multiregional DVD players or computers with special software for viewing. This equipment can be found in Reserves, third floor, Du Bois Library.
