What is Sustainability?

"Sustainabilility is development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs." (World Commission on Environment and Development, 1987)

From The Dictionary of Sustainable Management

This guide aims to address the "Three Pillars of Sustainability" - environmental, economic and social.

Sustainability is not simply about "being green." It is a transformative movement rippling around the globe. NOW is the time for systemic change, to rethink and rework how we live and interact on this planet.
